The brand and motion design for photographer Tim Brederecke is rooted in his focus on documentary and portrait photography. The visual identity is intentionally reduced and clear, with his initials forming the central element of the logo. This approach creates a strong yet understated presence that reflects his personal way of working and seeing.
The logo design is minimal and precise, aligning with the direct and honest character of his photography. To extend the identity into motion, I developed a 3D logo animation with a glass texture finish. The subtle movement and reflections add depth and tension, echoing how Tim works with light, shadow, and atmosphere in his images. The animation was designed especially for digital contexts, where it adds a quiet but distinctive sense of motion.
The sharp typeface provides edge and structure, while restrained colors give space to the photographs themselves. Together, these elements form a coherent visual system that frames Tim’s work and presents it in a focused, professional way, both online and in print.
