In May 2022, Adobe invited me to host an Adobe Live Poster Animation session using Adobe After Effects. During the stream, I shared how I approach animated poster design and how I combine typography with simple 3D elements. It was a great opportunity to talk about my workflow and connect with an international audience.
First, I walked viewers through the main steps of the project. I showed how animated text can add movement and structure to a poster. Then, I demonstrated how simple 3D elements can support the composition and give a static layout more depth. Step by step, the poster developed from a still image into a moving design.
Alongside the technical part, I also spoke about learning new skills. Motion design can feel challenging at times. Still, I believe curiosity and patience matter more than perfection. That is why I encouraged viewers to enjoy the process and trust their own pace.
Julia Ziegler hosted the session and guided the conversation in a relaxed and open way. Overall, the Adobe Live Poster Animation session felt practical and personal, and it showed how motion can turn a poster into something more expressive.
For those who missed the live session, the recording is available here. You can find more of my motion design projects on this website.
